The bank provides its customers with the AlAhli Points system, in the event that credit, debit and prepaid cards that belong to the National Bank of Egypt are used in domestic and international purchases, so the bank adds several points to you upon each use.
Number of points per pound and type of card used:
Al-Ahli Bank clarified the number of points owed for every pound through its official website as follows:
1 – A point is added to every pound upon payment, using gold, titanium or classic credit cards.
2- 1.5 points are added for every pound and paid by credit cards, Manchester Titanium or Platinum.
3- Every Egyptian pound is exchanged for a point when paying with platinum debit cards.
4- 0.5 point is added for every Egyptian pound, and it will be paid through prepaid “universities and remittances” cards.
5- A point is added for every pound when paying with classic credit cards.
6- Every pound is exchanged for a point in the event of payment using remittance cards “foreign currency transfers to the Egyptian pound”.
7- The amount paid is converted into points, at a rate of 0.5 points to every pound paid by gold or classic discount cards.
The bank indicated that it is possible to exchange AlAhli Points points either through the program’s website or by calling AlAhli Phone Service 19623.
AlAhli points can be exchanged for:
1- Travel around the world through online reservation via the AlAhli Points program website.
2- Electronic vouchers in the form of text messages to be used at all merchants participating in the program.
3- Recharge the mobile phone balance with the largest telecommunications networks around the world through the program’s website www.alahlypoints.com.
Cash Reward on any of the credit cards that are valid for the customer who owns the card.
The bank added that Fawry, installment movements, transactions related to the smart wallet and government payments made on National Bank of Egypt cards are excluded from the National Points system.
