Fujifilm GFX100 II Officially Launched in Taiwan: Price, Specifications, and Features

The FUJIFILM GFX100 II, which was launched at the Fuji X Summit last fall, has now been officially launched in Taiwan! The recommended price for a single camera is NT$232,000. It is the successor of the GFX100, but it has significantly improved in terms of performance.

Brand new 100 million pixel CMOS, 2 times faster

GFX100 II is equipped with the new GFX CMOS II HS sensor. Although it still maintains the same 100 million pixels as the previous one, the sensor is a new design, with 2 times the reading speed and 30% more light input. It is paired with X-Processor 5 The image processor enables the GFX100 II to have higher autofocus and continuous shooting performance, as well as purer high ISO image quality performance.

Up to 8fps continuous shooting speed, five-axis 8-level image stabilization performance

Thanks to the new sensor and image processor, the GFX100 II has high-speed continuous shooting performance of up to 8 frames per second. The anti-shake also comes with a maximum five-axis shutter speed compensation of 8 levels, which will be more convenient for handheld shooting in dim environments. In addition, the powerful sensor displacement capability also allows the GFX100 II to use the phase shift method to capture ultra-high-resolution images of up to 400 million pixels.

A new era of AI autofocus

The X-Processor 5 image processor equipped on the GFX100 II has a subject detection autofocus function, providing unprecedented autofocus performance in medium format cameras. Built with deep learning artificial intelligence technology, its advanced autofocus tracking and detection works not only on human faces and eyes, but also on animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, planes and trains. With such powerful autofocus Performance functions will allow photographers to focus more on photography creation.

Supports up to 8K 30p 4:2:2 10bit internal recording

Also thanks to the new X-Processor 5 image processor, the GFX100 II has also been greatly improved in terms of video recording specifications. It can provide 8K 30p, 4K 60p, FHD 120p recording capabilities, and also supports 4:2:2 10bit internal recording. In addition, it also supports encoding formats such as H.265 and ProRes. At the same time, the GFX100 II is also the first camera in the GFX series to support F-Log 2, expanding the flexibility of post-production. In addition, GFX100 II also adds a new MF subsidy function, which can more accurately improve the accuracy of manual focus through Focus Map. Finally, GFX100 II also supports its own cooling fan FAN-001, which ensures stability during long-term use of high-resolution recording.

New film simulation Reala Ace

Along with the GFX100 II comes new film simulation Reala Ace, the latest version of Fujifilm’s renowned color science. This 20th film simulation reproduces colors faithfully before your eyes, suitable for all shooting subjects.
