The Italians need to come back down to earth after a few very positive days regarding fuel prices nationwide. Increases are expected from next week.
No way. The dreams and hopes of Italian citizens, in particular of motoriststhey will break soon. In fact, after a really positive period from the point of view of the priceseverything looks set to rise again.
We are talking about fuel prices nationwide. In recent weeks in Italy there have been reductions which have been very positively received by consumers. Petrol and diesel have touched peaks decidedly below the average senior year, breathing a sigh of relief.
Even the increase of excise of early December was well absorbed by the market value of fuelsharply down. A serene phase which, however, is about to end. From next week there will already be increases in distributors, from north to south Italy.
Starting next week, fuel will increase again: costs
As announced by Gazzetta dello Sport, for about a week the international quotations of refined products have started to rise again with increasing strength. The week that will take us to Christmas is therefore likely to be characterized by an increase in fuel prices at the pump.
All waiting for news also from international marketwhich could lead to even sudden changes in the value of oil. In short, an up-and-down situation that has by now accustomed Italians not to rejoice or despair too soon. In the hope that the Government curb a possible price escalation.
Here then the average prices chargedcommunicated by the managers to the Price Observatory of the Ministry of Economic Development. The survey was carried out at 8 am on 15 December on approximately 15,000 plants:
Petrol 1.667 euros/litre (-7 thousandths compared to Wednesday, companies 1.667, white pumps 1.667);
Diesel 1.733 euros/litre (-7, companies 1,734, white pumps 1,731).
As for the served:
Petrol 1.813 euros/litre (-7, companies 1,853, white pumps 1,732);
Diesel 1.778 euros/litre (-8, companies 1,921, white pumps 1,793);
LPG 0.770 euros/litre (-1, companies 0.780, white pumps 0.758);
Methane 2.458 euros/kg (+11, companies 2,420, white pumps 2,488).
