The average price of Pb98 gasoline at the stations exceeded the psychological limit of PLN 6 per liter, and autogas at PLN 3.11 per liter has reached a new record – analysts from the e-petrol portal reported. According to reports from TVN24 reporters, Pb95 petrol also costs over PLN 6 at an increasing number of petrol stations.

The analysts of the portal reported that after a PLN 0.1 increase, those who refuel with 98-octane gas pay PLN 6.09 per liter. This is the highest number in the history of e-petrol.pl quotations.

The price of gasoline at the stations exceeded PLN 6 per liter
They indicated that the price of diesel fuel, which costs 5.89 PLN / l and it is also the highest, average price of this fuel recorded by the portal, also increased by the same amount. Four groszy more than last week – PLN 5.89 / l – is also paid for the purchase of a liter of Pb95 gasoline.

They added that the rises also affected autogas, the price of which, equal to PLN 3.11 / l, reached a new record.

E-petrol analysts recalled that the price of gasoline – the highest so far – was already in force at Polish stations in the spring of 2012 and 2013, and in the summer of 2013. “The analysis of archival retail prices shows that the prices of gasoline and diesel equalized for the second time – for the first time these fuels cost the same in March 2019, when they were paid 5.09 PLN / l.

Gasoline prices in Poland – where is the cheapest, where is the most expensive?
According to the portal, currently Wielkopolska stands out on the fuel map of Poland, where refueling is the cheapest – gasoline costs the lowest there: 5.83 (the same Pb95 price is valid in the Łódź Voivodeship) and 6.03 PLN / l as well as diesel and autogas: 5 , 84 and 3.05 PLN / l.

Pb95 gasoline, on the other hand, is the most expensive in Podlasie and in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, where a liter of it costs an average of PLN 5.90 / l. Also in Podlasie and in the Opole region, the most paid for the purchase of a liter of Pb98 – PLN 6.14 / l. In Podlaskie Voivodeship, diesel is also the most expensive, offered at the stations in this part of Poland at an average of 5.93 PLN / l. Autogas with an average price of PLN 3.14 / l costs the most in Podkarpacie and Małopolska – it was reported.

When it comes to the components of Pb95 gasoline prices, almost half goes to the state treasury: excise duty is responsible for 26 percent, VAT is 19 percent, and the fuel surcharge is 3 percent. The purchase cost at the refinery is 48 percent, and the margin is 4 percent.

In the case of ON, the situation is similar: excise duty – 20 percent, VAT – 19 percent, fuel surcharge – 6 percent. On the other hand, the purchase cost at the refinery is 50%, and the retail margin is 5%.
