REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The price of non-subsidized fuel oil (BBM) has increased since the beginning of October 2023. PT Pertamina (Persero) announced a number of price changes, starting from Pertamax which increased to IDR 14 thousand per liter, Pertamax Green 95 to IDR 16 thousand per liter, Pertamax Turbo to IDR 16,600 per liter, Dexlite to IDR 17,200 per liter, and Pertamina Dex to IDR 17,900 per liter.
“PT Pertamina is making adjustments fuel prices General in order to implement Ministerial Decree (Kepmen) ESDM No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 as an amendment to Ministerial Decree No. “62 K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the Basic Price Formula in Calculating Retail Selling Prices for General Types of Fuel, Types of Gasoline and Diesel Oil Distributed Through Public Fuel Filling Stations,” wrote Pertamina’s statement on its official website on Saturday (30/9/ 2023).

As a comparison, Pertamina’s RON 92 fuel, namely Pertamax, increased from IDR 13,300 in September to IDR 14 thousand per liter in October, which is still lower than competitors’ prices.
For example, fuel prices Shell Super has increased to Rp. 15,380 per liter from the previous Rp. 14,760. Then, Revvo 92 belongs Vivo previously IDR 14,460 increased to IDR 15,080 per liter, even with BP 92 which is now priced at IDR 14,580 per liter from previously IDR 13,500 per liter.
