Frosinone Signs Real Madrid Midfielder Reinier on Loan: Transfer Details and Player History

O Frosinone announced this Friday the signing of midfielder Reinier, formerly of Flamengo. The 21-year-old player has been loaned until the end of the season to the team that competes in the Italian Championship, with no option to buy. He still belongs to Real Madrid and will try to find space in another European team, after spells at Girona and Borussia Dortmund.

Reinier was bought by Real Madrid from Flamengo for 35 million euros in 2019, but was never used in the main team. After spending his first season at Real Castilla, he was loaned to Borussia Dortmund in 2020. However, he did not explode at the German club, where he spent two seasons and made a total of 39 games, with one goal scored. Last season, he returned to Real and was loaned to Girona, where he played 18 games, scoring two goals.

The striker has three more years on his contract with the Meringue club, until 2026, and has also received offers to continue at Girona, from Norwich, from the English Second Division, from Paok, from Greece. Frosinone, in turn, was chosen, where the Brazilian will re-edit with Kaio Jorge, ex-Santos and also borrowed by Juventus, a duo from the youth team.
