Belotie Nkashama-Tshibanda was destined for a sporting career. In 2006, with the Swiss athletics team, she even brought home a bronze medal from the Youth Olympic Games. She should have become an athlete, but she is an acrobat who awaits us at the buffet at Lausanne station. Three jobs, four children, five languages, six books and a publishing house: listening to this young author tell us about her life since the creation of Beth Story, we are tempted to believe that her days, inevitably, have more hours than the national average.

Of course, the runners have energy and endurance – but from there to improvise as an editor while doing school at home and giving awareness workshops to teachers on the issues of representation of Afro-descendant characters in children’s literature, we can say that we are approaching the profile of the ultra-trailer.
