From today more money from the office for a good lunch – Reutlingen – Reutlinger General-Anzeiger

REUTLINGEN. Starting today, Monday, there will be changes in the reimbursement of the cost of lunch and learning support in the Reutlingen district. The District Office reports that up to 22 euros per hour are subsidized for adequate learning support, regardless of whether the service provider is a private person or a commercial provider. If the cost of lunch is covered, the billable expense per lunch increases to a maximum of 6.75 euros. Vouchers that have already been issued will not be replaced. If, in the future, costs for a lunch exceed the 5.50 euros mentioned in a voucher that has already been issued, expenses for periods from March 1st can be billed at up to 6.75 euros per lunch. Furthermore, for recipients of benefits according to SGB II (job center) and SGB XII (district social office or social office of the city of Reutlingen), the benefits are included in the basic application. Recipients of housing benefit and child allowance, on the other hand, have to apply for benefits for education and participation to the social welfare office of the district or city, depending on where they live.

It is recommended that you take advantage of this support because it also enables support with a class trip or excursions to the kindergarten, a lump sum for school supplies (currently 154.50 euros per calendar year) and, under certain conditions, the travel costs for bus or train to school.

Support with appropriate learning support is also offered. In addition, there is a voucher for communal lunch at school or kindergarten as well as a participation service for activities in the areas of sport, games, culture or socializing with 15 euros per month. More information is also available on the District Office’s homepage under “Education and Participation”. (eg)
