From Thursdays in the park to the 80s evening at the Auto Museum, this weekend we go out to Mulhouse!

Entertainment at Drouot, a designer’s market in the square du MISE, an evening under the sign of the 80s at the Automobile Museum, the big return of Thursdays in the park and even a competition to win tickets for the cinema-concert of the OSM… This weekend, we’re going out to Mulhouse!

Dorothy and her dog Toto are swept away by a tornado that takes them to the magical land of Oz. She meets strange characters there: a scarecrow, a tin man and a fearful lion, with whom she goes in search of the magician who will allow her to return home… These Thursdays and Fridays, the Orchester symphonique de Mulhouse revisits the film “The Wizard of Oz”, which marked generations of spectators, on the occasion of an unprecedented film-concert.

Entertainment galore at Drouot

Bright sunshine and plenty of entertainment: there’s no doubt that the Mulhouse summer got off to a flying start! In the Drouot district, a rich program of events has been imagined by Le Boat, in partnership with many local structures. Good news, this program which aims to be both cultural, sporting and festive, starts this Friday, July 8, with in particular games, a DIY workshop, a wandering show by the Contes de Nana company, or even the concert of the most Latino Mulhouse rappers, AD El Mariachi…

The Square du Mise en Fête

A creators’ market, a workshop to create badges, a participatory fresco with the illustrator Joan, the creation of a live fresco with the graffiti artist Nico119… But also a concert by Marie Gelis or a DJ set by Seb du Bollwerk for jiggle until the middle of the night… The first Mis’en Fête weekend, organized by the City of Mulhouse and the L’Artichaut association, promises to be hot. And the good news is that two other weekends of the same type are planned for July 23-24 and 30-31!

Saturday July 9 from 11 a.m. to midnight and Sunday July 10 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., in the Square du Musée de l’impression sur toffes. Free.

Park Thursdays, the return!

If the first Thursday of the park took on water, in the literal sense of the term, the second, scheduled for Thursday July 7, should smell good of summer and the sun, with a theme placed under the theme of “Vamos a la playa ! As always, it will be possible to play at Möllky under the chestnut trees of Salvator Park, to snack or have a drink, to enjoy a (good) show before a film screening… This Thursday, it’s the 126 kilos company which will present “Sand Bank”, a circus show with real clowns, before the screening of the animated film “The famous invasion of the bears in Sicily” by Lorenzo Mattoti.

Sabine Paturel in concert at the Auto Museum

The National Automobile Museum opened on July 8, 1982 and is therefore celebrating its 40th anniversary this weekend. For the occasion, the 80s will be honored during these two festive days, with an exhibition of cars from the 80s, arcade games, as well as an open-air concert, bringing together the stars of il forty years ago, like Phil Barney, Laroche Valmont or Sabine Paturel… Among others!

Saturday July 9 and Sunday July 10, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Automobile Museum. 14€, 5€ for children (from 4 to 17 years old), free for children under 4 years old. Concert Saturday July 9 at 7 p.m., single price of €10. + info on www.musee-automobile.fr
