It all started with a charity challenge. In February 2022, Clément and his friends hosted a charity event on YouTube during which they had raised more than 4,000 euros for the association “Sourire à la Vie”. By crossing the threshold of 4,000 euros, the students had to take up a challenge in return: walk to Paris.
Without experience or training, Clément and Quentin set off last August. Equipped with the bare minimum, the two students from Reims had no not forgot their camera. After several months of editing, where Clément (alias Scrooge) sorted in 1 p.m. of rushesa first video of this adventure is available on the audiovisual student’s YouTube channel.
After a false start (too busy for this journey in the heat wave) and a change of squad (Quentin replaced Romain, Clément’s initial partner), the pair set off to a 6 day trip on country roads.
During their adventure, the two friends have multiplied the meetings. Many local residents have helped Clément and Quentin. The next two episodes devoted to the challenge of the two friends are already edited and ready to be broadcast. The videos will be posted on Scro’s YouTube channel during the last two weekends of January.
