Twitter Communities is now available to everyone in Germany. Tweets can now be shared more easily with like-minded people.
With the new Communities function, Twitter users can meet and exchange ideas on a specific topic. In the groups, the members also see tweets that contain thematically appropriate hashtags or something similar.
What is the Communities feature on Twitter?
In addition to being able to get information about favorite topics, conversations that don’t work as well within the broader network can be held within groups. In addition, all Twitter users can set up their own communities. These groups also have their own rules for dealing with each other, for example whether new members introduce themselves briefly or not.
Only the community members can reply to tweets that have only been shared in groups and not in general. Community pages and timelines, on the other hand, are publicly accessible. This allows users to read, quote and report community posts as with public tweets.
