All over the world and despite the Covid-19 epidemic, the transition to 2022 has been duly celebrated. From New York to Bangkok via Madrid, a quick overview of the most beautiful New Years Eve.

All over the world, the New Year’s tradition has been observed, Friday December 31st. The sky lit up from London (United Kingdom) to Sydney (Australia). In Dubai, make way for excess. 2022 is inscribed in letters of light on the tallest tower in the world, 828 meters high. In New York (United States), only 15,000 people, vaccinated and masked, were able to kiss, dance and celebrate the New Year in Times Square.
In Bangkok (Thailand), 30,000 fireworks were made from Thai rice, to warn about the future of the planet. In Athens (Greece), fire was fired from the Acropolis. In Madrid (Spain), the party was in full swing on Puerta del Sol. “More than ever you have to party, be happy, be alive and enjoy”, confides a woman. For 24 hours, billions of people celebrated the transition to the New Year all over the world, forgetting the Covid-19 pandemic for a few hours.
