This Friday evening, the USAP suffered the Colomiers law on the lawn of Aimé-Giral (5-21)
After a first opposition between teammates last week, the USAP played this Friday its first “real” friendly match against Colomiers.
A sort of final that did not take place in the Pro D2 of last season, where Colomiers was in the lead, followed by a point by the USAP, when the competition was ordered to stop.
In front of 5,483 spectators, the Catalans fell into the trap of aggressiveness and bow quite logically 5-21, notably receiving four boxes.
Winger Jean-Bernard Pujol scored the Catalans’ only try (15e).
Next week, USAP will host US Carcassonne on Wednesday at Aimé-Giral (8 p.m.), before officially launching its season on Thursday, September 3 in Biarritz (8:45 p.m.).
