Hugo Siquet leaves the SC Freiburg on loan. As the Bundesliga club announce, the 20-year-old right-back is drawn to Cercle Brugge for the remainder of the season.

Should be in Bruges Siquet collect match practice. In Breisgau, the services of the right footer cost 4.5 million euros last year. So far, however, the Belgian U21 international has not been able to get past top dog Christian Günter.
“Hugo now needs regular playing time, but we cannot guarantee him that for the foreseeable future due to the great competition in the team.”says sports director Klemens Hartenbach, “So the loan to his Belgian homeland makes sense and comes at the right time.”
