Freiburg: boost for digitization – customs handed over 117 laptops to the Staudinger comprehensive school in Freiburg

– Customs support the Staudinger Comprehensive School in Freiburg with digitization. 117 laptops, which were replaced by new devices at customs, were handed over to the head of the Staudinger comprehensive school, Martin Baumgarten, by the head of the customs education and science center at the Freiburg site, Christine Lentschewski, on Thursday (December 17). For reasons of data protection, the hard drives had to be removed, but the devices are still functional.

“We have recently replaced 117 notebooks with new devices. Since the corona pandemic poses great challenges for the education system as a whole, we are very happy to be able to support a school in the region at this special time, ”said Christine Lentschewski.

Martin Baumgarten, Head of the Staudinger Comprehensive School, was also satisfied: “The devices are just right for the students at the Staudinger Comprehensive School, as it is becoming apparent that they will be increasingly dependent on laptops for distance learning in the near future.”
