Following the frost that occurred on the night of Wednesday 7 to Thursday 8 April, the affected farmers can already declare their claim. The Departmental Directorate of Territories and the Sea of Hérault (DDTM 34) has already set up a system.

It is essential that all affected farmers make their contribution. This inventory will allow the triggering of aid measures such as the exemption from the Tax on Unbuilt Land, partial coverage of social contributions, etc.
In addition, a recognition procedure for agricultural disasters is also implemented. It aims to take into account the loss of funds on the vine (frozen plants which must be replaced) and the loss of harvest in arboriculture.
