MISANO – Free practice session 1 MotoGP San Marino 2021 will take place at the Misano Circuit, Friday (17/9/2021), afternoon WIB. Aprilia Gresini racer, Maverick Vinales, surprisingly the fastest.
Vinales was able to become the fastest driver at the beginning of free practice session 1. However, the record had to be deleted after the Aprilia driver was deemed to have exceeded the track limit.
The next battle took place between Suzuki Ecstar and Aprilia. They take turns being able to master the course of the 1st free practice session by placing their respective drivers in the forefront.
Vinales also had time to become the fastest racer in the first ten minutes. However, Lenovo’s Ducati racer, Francesco Bagnaia, was able to provide resistance by being the fastest with a time of 1 minute 33 seconds.
Ducati was able to shift the dominance of Suzuki and Aprilia after Jack Miller became the second fastest behind his teammates. However, Joan Mir (Suzuki Ecstar) and Vinales are also able to show very good speed.

Mir was able to shift Bagnaia’s position in first position, while Miller was unable to do much by perching in fifth position. However, these results did not last long after Vinales was able to replace Mir.
However, ten minutes before the 1st free practice session ended, conditions changed drastically. The reason is, heavy rains flushed the Misano Circuit so that it hampered the free practice session 1.
Despite the heavy rain conditions, Mir’s teammate, Alex Rins, tried to return to the track using wet tires to get a feel for the circuit conditions.
However, Rins’ efforts did not change the final result. Vinales became the fastest racer, followed by Mir, Bagnaia, and Miller. Meanwhile, Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) had to be willing to be in ninth position, while Valentino Rossi (Petronas Yamaha SRT) was in 19th position.
