Dhe Franz Liszt Association Raiding is holding its 4th Liszt Forum on Wednesday, April 26 from 9 am to 1 pm in the Liszt Library in Raiding.
This Liszt Forum is being held with the Daniel Berzsenyi Lyceum Sopron and the Franz Liszt Gymnasium Oberpullendorf. On the one hand, the forum will deal with the future networking of both schools, as the Franz Liszt Association Raiding is concerned with bringing together two neighboring schools from Hungary and Austria with the music and with the person Franz Liszt and also the border fence, which is still exists in some minds, to be overcome according to the motto “We should do as Franz Liszt thought in European terms.”
On the other hand, at the forum, his father Ladislaus Szabo from Paris will report on the subject of “The composer using the example of Martin Szabo from Burgenland”. In addition, the pianist Dimitry Smirnov from the Haydn Private University in Eisenstadt will play works by Martin Szabo, his own compositions and works by Liszt.
The Liszt Forum will be opened by the Hungarian Honorary Consul for Austria, Dr. Barabas Laszlo.
