Frans Bauer is currently staying in Alicante, Spain, where he will perform later this week. He and his son Christiaan are allowed to stay in a typical Spanish tourist hotel and Bauer is happy to make fun of that. He posted a sarcastically enthusiastic video on Instagram.
“You’ve been waiting for it for months and finally: you’re there. You are completely happy, you get off the plane,” he begins his video. “Then you arrive at the hotel: great. Beautiful view,” he says as he turns his camera towards a busy, noisy street and other tall buildings. “Breathtaking. Look, nice roof terrace, busy street, traffic going up and down all day. There is plenty to see and experience here. Walk down the street here. Nine kilometers further and you are at the sea. What else do you want? This is fun, isn’t it? You would like to wish this to everyone.”
