Frank Lammers streams play about Karl Marx live via Facebook | NOW

Frank Lammers will play the title role in the play on Sunday at 7 p.m. via a live stream on Facebook Marx about the founder of communism, the actor reports Thursday via Instagram. The tour of the play by Het Zuidelijk Toneel has been stopped due to the corona virus.

The play in the form of a monologue can be followed live via the Facebook pages of Omroep Tilburg and Het Zuidelijk Toneel.

Lammers is more aware of having “enough time” now that the performance is at least until April 6.

Karl Marx (1818-1883) was a German thinker who strongly influenced philosophy, economics, sociology and historiography. He was a central figure in the history of socialism and communism and a founder of the workers’ movement.

The coronavirus in short

  • The coronavirus mainly spreads through sneezes and cough drops. The virus can be transmitted directly from person to person or (for a limited time) through surfaces such as door handles.
  • An infected person infects two to three others on average. Precautions are necessary to contain this.
  • The vast majority of patients have mild (flu-like) complaints.
  • Nearly all deaths involve the elderly or other frail, such as heart, lung or diabetes patients. If everyone complies with the measures, this reduces their risks.
  • Read here what precautions you should take.
