He finally revealed himself. After a weekend of false suspense, the Franco-Tunisian businessman Mohamed Ayachi Ajroudi confirms that he is behind the project to buy OM. ” It’s a reality […] We have a team that is progressing well and today we are taking it step by step, ”says Ayachi Ajroudi, interviewed by the Tunisian radio station Shems. He mentions a “cultural, cinematographic and sports project”, in which “OM would not even represent 8%”.

The businessman comments with irony on the declaration of the president of OM Jacques-Henri Eyraud, who hammered on Saturday that Frank McCourt was not a seller. “This proves that we have made a good comeback during the negotiation period […] The seller always wants to sell at the highest price and the buyer always wants to buy at the lowest, ”smiles Ayachi Ajroudi.

The origin of funds still mysterious

He confirmed that Mourad Boudjellal would be president if the project was successful. Mohamed Ayachi Ajroudi did not specify where the funds come from that would allow him to buy OM. According to several sources, Saudi funds are behind this project.
