FRANCE : The heat wave continues next week

+ The weather situation is improving little by little as the Azores high extends its influence to France in the form of a backbone.
+ This weekend, we will remain all the same influenced by a mild ocean current (which sky still pretty cloudy on the Northern half – and even the return of a perturbation weakly rainy on the North-West in the day on Sunday…).
+ But starting Monday, a second cell of high pressure will form on the North of France, and will be expanded in the following days by going back to Scandinavia.
+ This will promote even heating with temperatures reaching very high values dice Tuesday afternoon…
+ This first heat wave of the season should we go until next Sunday, and only a small risk of a thunderstorm late in the day will occur on the reliefs from Wednesday night.
+ As soon as Wednesday, we will reach or exceed 30°C over almost the whole of France, with peaks of over 35°C in the shade in the Lower valley of the Rhone and the plains of the South-West from Thursday ! The nights will also soon stifling, especially in the centre of larger agglomerations.

**Extremes in France (plain) in the last 24 hours :

T°C min : 5.5°C to Auberive (52)
T°C max : 30,8°C in Fréjus (83)
Accumulated maximum rain in the past 24 hours : 21 mm Mulhouse (68)
European analysis of Friday 19 June 2020 (weather Finnish)

Names of depressions and anticyclone planned for Saturday, June 20, 2020 at noon (Berlin)
