They did it ! Zaccharie Perrin’s teammates brought down the United States (89-86) in the semi-finals of the U19 World Cup, which takes place in Hungary. France will face the winner of the match between Spain and Turkey in the final on Sunday. A deserved success since the players of Lamine Kebe led for 25 minutes, and they were skilful: 54% on shots, including 50% from 3-pointers.
They were able to hold their own in a stifling “money time”, and marked by a lot of clumsiness (16 stray balls for each team). Like the lost balls of Alexandre Bouzidi, who however caught up well in defense, or the missed shot under the circle of Zacharie Perrin in the last minute.
