Four Ukrainian Saboteurs Charged with Planning Terrorist Attacks in Russia Taken to Moscow

Four members of the Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group, who were preparing terrorist attacks on military and energy facilities in Russia, were taken to Moscow. Law enforcement agencies reported this today, January 15, transmits TASS.

“Four servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who surrendered in the Bryansk region at the end of August last year, were transferred to Moscow to carry out investigative actions with them. They were arrested and kept in the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center. All defendants have been charged,” a law enforcement source said.

The saboteurs were charged with organizing terrorist attacks by an organized group (Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph “a” of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and illegal trafficking in explosives (Part 4 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
