four people have been indicted, announces the public prosecutor

The four men are aged 23 to 53. They were notably indicted for “association of criminals for an offense punishable by ten years’ imprisonment and aggravated violence”.

Four people were indicted after the urban violence committed in Dijon (Côte-d’Or) the weekend of June 13, announced on Saturday June 20 the public prosecutor of Dijon. “What we witnessed was completely unpredictable and unusual”, commented Eric Mathais, adding that there were about “20 identified physical victims”. A 23-year-old man of Russian nationality, with refugee status, living in Saint-Etienne, is indicted in particular for “association of criminals for crimes punishable by ten years’ imprisonment and aggravated violence”, detailed the prosecutor. The second indicted is 29 years old, is Russian and lives in Troyes. Another 53-year-old Russian national with refugee status lives in Dole in the Jura. The last, 41 years old, born in Russia but of French nationality, is the only indicted residing in Dijon.
