Four more corona patients died in the state of Bremen on Monday. The health department announced. Accordingly, there were 54 newly registered infections at the beginning of the week – 41 in Bremen and 13 in Bremerhaven. The number of active corona cases is 1,076. Last Monday the number was 831. At that time there had also been 54 new infections.
The incidence value for Bremerhaven has fallen for the first time in eleven days. According to the health department, it is 174.2. On Sunday the value was 178.6. The Bremen value, on the other hand, is heading towards the 100 mark: It rises from 89.3 to 90.2.
Upper limit and 7-day incidence
According to the health department, 134 people currently need inpatient care in the state of Bremen, 35 of them in intensive care units. 25 of the people treated in intensive care must therefore be ventilated.
More than 10 percent of all Bremen residents are vaccinated
According to the Senate, a total of 69,455 people have been vaccinated in the state of Bremen so far. 29,654 of them received a second vaccination. 57,850 of the vaccinated people are in Bremen, 11,605 in Bremerhaven. According to the Senate, more than ten percent of Bremen residents have received an initial vaccination against the corona virus.
According to the health department, all people in Category I received a vaccination offer. In addition, invitations were sent to people with previous illnesses between 75 and 79 years of age by the health insurance companies. All other people between the ages of 70 and 79, both with and without previous illnesses, will also receive a vaccination invitation in the next fourteen days, it is said.
