Four asymptomatic Covid-19 cases put a million people at home in Wuhan – Abroad – News – TVNET

After four asymptomatic cases were detected in Jiangxia District, its residents were ordered to stay at home for three days.

As part of China’s “zero covid” policy, mass testing of the population is taking place, those who have become ill must observe strict quarantine, and if a potential source of infection is discovered, “lockdowns” of local significance are determined. According to data provided by China, there are fewer deaths there than in other parts of the world, where the virus is being fought with means that do not leave as much of an impact on people’s daily lives.

In Wuhan, home to 12 million people, two cases of infection were detected through testing and the other two through contact tracing.

Strict “lockdowns” are being introduced elsewhere in China as well. China’s financial metropolis, Shanghai, recently ended a two-month “lockdown” and is now undergoing frequent mass testing of residents there.
