Niantic has just announced through the Pokémon GO website that something strange is going on with the 7km eggs. For the time being, only Fossil Pokémon come from these eggs. This is the following Pokémon:
- Omanyte *
- Kabuto *
- Aerodactyl *
- Lileep *
- Anorith *
- Cranidos
- Shieldon
- Tirtouga
- Archen
Archen in particular will be of interest to many players, because the Pokémon was very rare up until now and could only be found in 10km eggs. Why Niantic is making this change is unknown. Possibly there will be an event with which this has to do and they try to create a structure.
The Fossil Pokémon no longer come from other eggs either, but the babies (except for Riolu) do not seem to be found in other eggs either. Riolu can be found in 10km eggs.
