Two weeks are waiting for the race
Nio racing driver Ma Qing Hua (32) even fled his home! He traveled from China to Mexico in early February. At the next race, Qing Hua even goes into quarantine for two weeks – albeit a self-imposed one.
–
Nio 333 spokesman Jun Qian says to BLICK: «After intensive discussions, the team and Ma decided that he should arrive early. We call it self-quarantine. This ensures that Ma is ready for the E-Prix, even if the travel restrictions in China should be tightened again. »

Direct flights from China to Mexico are already not possible. Team members such as Nio CEO Vincent Wang plan to travel to Central America via Tokyo. From Japan we continue to Mexico City, where your racing pilot has long been waiting for the next Formula E event in a hotel.
