Former State Secretary for CDA Ton Frinking (91) passed away | Inland

The Groninger Frinking, who before his political career worked as an officer in the Army, played an important role in the debates about whether or not to place cruise missiles. Together with CDA colleague Joep de Boer – collectively known as the Fribo duo – he opposed the placement of the weapons.

Hoekstra calls Frinking “a highly valued CDA member” and “an expert defense specialist who was committed to peace and security.” He wishes the family of Frinking and his loved ones “good luck”.
