Former aide to the President of the Russian Federation, shadow “curator” of Russia’s aggression in the Donbass Vladislav Surkov said that Ukraine “can only be returned by force.”

He said this in an interview with the Telegram channel. WarGonzo.

What kind of force is in question – Surkov did not specify.

“Of course, by force. By force! Strength is different, not only military. There is also the strength of the special services, it is different. There is a force, the so-called soft, notorious term, but it also exists. There is a force of economic influence, political influence,” he said is he.

Surkov also claims that the Russian Federation allegedly “wins the international situation.” The world, in his words, “is really tired of Ukraine.”

Earlier, the media published an entry in which Putin’s godfather Viktor Medvedchuk and former Putin aide Vladislav Surkov in 2014 discussed electricity supplies to the occupied Crimea and the exchange of prisoners in the Donbass. The SBU promised to carry out its examination, the results have not yet been reported.

As UNIAN reported earlier, in January there were reports of Surkov’s dismissal from the post of Putin’s assistant. Surkov was engaged in “supervising the policy towards Ukraine.”

On February 11, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that the “Ukrainian direction” and the issue of “integration” are supervised by the deputy head of the presidential administration Kozak.

On February 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin officially dismissed Surkov from his aide.
