Former president Giscard d’Estaing admitted to hospital | Abroad

His last public appearance dates from last week at the funeral of one of his former collaborators, Mylène Descamps, in Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris.

His son Louis Giscard d’Estaing indicated that he had spoken to him on Sunday evening and that he had no particular problems at the time. “He is a man his age,” he added.

Giscard d’Estaing was president from 1974 to 1981.
