entertainment">Cheslie, who was crowned Miss USA in 2019, died after jumping from a building in Manhattan. Her family said in a statement CNN know: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Cheslie. Her light was one that inspired others around her. She had a lot of love, she smiled and she beamed.”
entertainment">Just before her death, she shared a photo of herself on Instagram, writing: “May this day give you rest and peace.” Cheslie worked as a lawyer committed to reforming the United States’ legal system. She obtained three titles from two universities. She worked on civil lawsuits for a law firm and helped free inmates who may have been wrongly convicted.
