Former F1 champion Kimi Raikkonen’s son Robin is a glimpse of a big game in a cart[F1-Gate.com]

Räikkönen may be the next F1 Nisei driver to make a name for himself.

Many Nisei drivers are active in F1, Nico Rosberg and Keke Rosberg, and the current F1 world champions Max Verstappen and Jos Verstappen are famous for their strict racing education.

More recently, Juan Pablo Montoya’s son Sebastian and Alex Wurz’s son Charlie are taking the next step in single-seaters.

And it is Kimi Raikkonen’s son Robin who is attracting attention.

2007 F1 world champion Kimi Raikkonen will end his 20-year F1 career in the 2021 season.

Kimi Räikkönen has posted on social media that he has been taking Robin to the karting circuit since his playing days, and Robin is already 4 years old and is sponsored by karting maker CRG.

Now seven years old, Robin Raikkonen seems to have not lost his passion for karting.

Gino Rosato, a former Ferrari executive and a close friend of Kimi Raikkonen, spent the day watching 7-year-old Robin Raikkonen’s racing karting this week.

“What a day! I saw a little 7-year-old ace do 110 laps with Kimi Raikkonen and his wife Mintu!”

“I think I’ve seen this figure before. He’s very quiet, doesn’t interact much, always seems a little confused and indifferent. But like his father, ‘Leave me alone.’ Please stay.”

“Where’s the car? Magic comes to life. Quick, fast, rapid, natural talent, call it whatever you want!! F1 is here…”
