The security authorities in Egypt revealed that a report was issued by a lawyer representing the artist, Sherine Abdel Wahab, against her former business manager and an artistic production company, accusing them of broadcasting an artistic work owned by her, which caused material and moral damage, and the communication was referred to the Egyptian Public Prosecution for investigation, and it was not issued. On behalf of Sherine’s business team, there is no clarification on the circumstances of writing the communication.
And Abdel-Wahhab filed a lawsuit against a production company for broadcasting her artistic work, the song “With Halafalak”, with the help of her former business manager, “Karim M.”, without her knowledge, which resulted in material and moral damages. Report No. 2347 was issued by the Dokki Department’s administrative office, and the prosecution took over the investigations.
It is noteworthy that Sherine Abdel-Wahhab officially announced the appointment of a new business manager, Ihab Saleh, and also issued an official statement threatening to pursue anyone who spreads rumors about her private life through social media, and the statement said: “The artist Sherine Abdel-Wahhab confirms that what was reported on social media is incorrect. In her case, she is dedicated to preparing new songs after she finished her new album and invited Rotana to receive it.
And he continued, “She calls on her audience to pay attention to those who take advantage of her artistic sabbatical to entertain her fans with new songs that she prepares, instead of unjustly delving into her personal life to harvest views and follow-ups on the Internet for their own interests.”
Sherine added in her statement: “I take this opportunity to congratulate the audience on these blessed days and the blessed month of Ramadan, may God bring it back to all of us with goodness.”
