After his media career, Verbiest worked for many years as a spokesperson for various politicians, such as Els Van Weert (Spirit) and Jurgen Verstrepen (Lijst Dedecker). He has also been active behind the scenes in the media world, including as editor-in-chief of the much-discussed “Big Brother” and as spokesperson for media company Alfacam. He was also spokesperson for football club Lierse for a while.
At the end of his professional career, Terry Verbiest worked as an independent media consultant and coach. He passed away yesterday after a lengthy hospital stay.
