Former Brazilian star Ricardo Kaka has become a candidate to join the coaching staff of the Brazil national team, along with Italian Carlo Ancelotti.
And the President of the Brazilian Football Confederation, Ednaldo Rodriguez, confirmed that Ancelotti will coach the national team, starting with the Copa America in 2024.
And the newspaper “La Gazzetta dello Sport” reported that Kaka, the legend of Milan, was one of the names strongly nominated to work with Ancelotti, and that the Brazilian Confederation approached him with this matter.
Ancelotti has a contract with Real Madrid until June 2024, and will join the Brazilian national team after his contract expires. Meanwhile, Fluminense coach Fernando Diniz will supervise the national team on an interim basis.
Kaká scored 95 goals in 270 appearances for Ancelotti at Milan, winning five trophies, including Serie A and the UEFA Champions League.
