KONTAN.CO.ID –  JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) closed in the green zone at the end of May 2022 trading. Citing data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) via RTI Business, the JCI shot 111.40 points or 1.58% to a level of 7,148,970 at the close of trading, Tuesday (31/5) . Throughout trading, the JCI was moving in the green zone.

The increase in JCI was supported by the strengthening of 9 sectors out of a total of 11 sectors on the IDX. The sector that strengthened the most was the energy sector at i2.55%, the industrial sector rose 2.30%. The primary consumer goods sector rose 1.92%. The raw goods sector rose 1.60%. The infrastructure sector grew 1.40%. The financial sector also rose 1.33%.

Then the transportation sector rose 0.64%. The non-primary consumer goods sector edged up 0.37%. The health sector also edged up 0.14%. Meanwhile, the red color sector was the technology sector, which fell 1.05% and the property and real estate sector weakened 0.14%.

The total volume of stock trading on the IDX at the end of May reached 31.57 billion with a transaction value of Rp 33.90 trillion. There were 320 stocks that rose, 234 stocks that fell and 146 stocks that were stagnant.

Foreigners take notes net buy jumbo of Rp 4.51 trillion in all markets.

Foreign investors noted net buy tlargest share in PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia Tbk (ADMR) of Rp 1.5 trillion. However, ADMR’s shares fell 5.91% to Rp 2,230 per share. The total trading volume of ADMR shares reached 1.33 billion with a transaction value of Rp 3.0 trillion.

Shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) is also crowded with foreigners buying up to Rp 468.1 billion. BBCA shares rose 2.31% to Rp 7,750 per share. The total trading volume of BBCA shares reached 302.7 million with a transaction value of Rp. 2.3 trillion.
