Alan Ganoo argued that Navin Ramgoolam was scheduled to fly on Monday, but the oxygen needs of the former Prime Minister cannot be met on the Air Mauritius flight. So other steps currently being taken, he said so that an “air ambulance” is made available to the former Prime Minister.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed that the High Commission of India in Mauritius stands ready to provide assistance to facilitate this process.
Minister Ganoo wished a speedy recovery to Navin Ramgoolam, who tested positive for Covid-19 at the end of the week.
