Ford may release another “charged” crossover – Motor

The Ford Escape crossover, known in the European and Russian markets as the Kuga, is built on the platform of the Focus passenger car, which has a high-performance ST version, but for some time now the “hot” hatchback is not available in the US, as is the more compact Fiesta ST. The concern decided to withdraw them from sale on the North American continent, since they were inferior in sales to crossovers. However, buyers of the SUV segment also value high-performance cars, so in the future, Ford may release another “charged” crossover – the Escape ST, which is expected to be constructed on the basis of the Focus ST hatchback.
