On the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays, the Burgas Regional Administration organizes a charity initiative “The Christmas Tree of Goodness”, which has been established over the years as a very good tradition of kindness and care towards children at risk and their families.
The patron of the donation campaign is Plamen Yanev – regional governor and chairman of the Regional Coordination Mechanism for Deinstitutionalization of Children.
This year, more than 100 children placed in foster families and children at risk from the municipalities in the Burgas Region, with whom the regional coordinator of Hope and Homes for Children works during the year, will be targeted.
Those wishing to support the initiative can do so in the period from December 7 to 22, by leaving their donations around the festively decorated Christmas tree in the Burgas Regional Administration building at 1 Tsar Peter Street every working day.
The organizers ask the donors that the packages contain information about who the donation is from, about the contents, whether it is intended for a boy or a girl, if it is clothes or toys, as well as for what age of children the items or products placed in the package are intended.
The distribution and distribution of the charity packages to the needy children and their families will be carried out by the members of the District Coordination Mechanism through social services and institutions in the district.
We thank in advance the people with good and generous hearts who will join the charity initiative and will make dozens of children from socially weak families happy. Let’s bring joy this year and fulfill the Christmas miracle for these families.
