This is the second consecutive MVP award for “Greek Freak”, because in 2019 he was also recognized as the most valuable player. Also this season and last season, Adetokunbo was included in the top five of the tournament.

It has already been reported that the winner of the Eastern Conference “Bucks” ended the fight for the title of NBA champion already in the second round of the “play-off”, losing the Miami “Heat” with 1-4. The Mivloki club star stood out in the nine games of the elimination tournament with an average of 26.7 points, 13.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists. “During the play-off, Adetokunbo indirectly showed dissatisfaction with his playing time, while the head coach of the team, Mike Budenholzer, pointed out that 35-36 minutes is the maximum in such tense fights.

Recently, the basketball player met with Bucks co-owner Mark Lasri. It happened the same day he did traced hundreds of people on Twitter and Instagram, including the Milwaukee team profile and all team members. Vodzhnarovsky revealed the details of a three-hour conversation – how the Milwaukee unit could improve its composition. Lasri confirmed that the team will be ready to pay the luxury tax (applicable in cases where the club exceeds the salary ceiling). The two sides agreed to continue the talks after the Greek star returns from leave.

Earlier, Sham Sharan, a reviewer at The Athletic, revealed the team’s plans for Adetokunbo. The basketball player, who can become an unrestricted free agent after next season, will be offered a “super-max” contract – a five-year contract for an amount ranging from 221 to 233 million dollars (187-197 million euros) depending on the salary ceiling.

Meanwhile, Yahoo Sports reported that the amount could reach 254 million dollars or 214 million euros.
