Why a Bible Quiz?
In Israel, the International Bible Quiz on Independence Day is one of the most popular events of the year. Thousands of teenagers between the ages of 14 and 18 begin preparing months in advance to qualify for the quiz. The most successful youth are invited to a two-week Bible camp to study the Bible, socialize, and prepare for the main event that is televised each year on Israel’s Independence Day.
The Independence Day Bible Quiz adds a spiritual dimension to the celebration of Israel’s return to its homeland and encourages adults and young people to study the Bible.
This year we invite you and your family to join Israel Today for a Bible Quiz right here in Jerusalem! We’ll ask questions about biblical verses, find out who said what to whom, get geographic details of the land of Israel, and also throw in some “trick” questions!
Our entire Israel Today community can participate. If you don’t want to take part in the Bible quiz, you can just be a spectator and have fun. There is always something to learn.
Let’s encourage our families and friends to read the Bible as we celebrate with Israel and the Jewish people in Jerusalem!
