Landscape architect Siegfried Lösch had come to the meeting. His job: the planning of the embankment area, the access to the rectory and the repair of the stairs at the church entrance on Hohersdorfer Straße in Rottendorf. The measures should be summarized again and explained to the committee in order to then initiate the tender and award.

Application refused

However, the road renovation in Rottendorf had caused quite a stir beforehand. That was the reason why councilor Hans-Jürgen Flierl wanted to have the presentation of the next planned design measure – embankment, church staircase, access to the vicarage – removed from the agenda at the public meeting: It has not yet been clarified in writing who will be responsible for any cost increases for road expansion take over. Mayor Josef Deichl countered that all previous points “have been processed”. Only one property still has to be clarified, which the owner probably wants to have a lawyer or appraiser do.

With 12: 3 votes (against Hans-Jürgen Flierl, Jens Tölg and Ramona Birner) Flierl’s application failed. As Mayor Deichl then further explained, there were two on-site meetings with landscape architect Lösch and the citizens to discuss how the perimeter should be designed. There was also contact with the church administration. The driveway into the rectory becomes flatter. Then you also have the option of connecting the youth home and the old garages to the sewer network.

Recycle steps

Siegfried Lösch then specified his design ideas for the street environment. The embankment area that stretches from Hohersdorfer Straße into Dorfstraße is flattened with retaining walls. Granite blocks are used, which are set in dry construction. The cemetery stairs have damaged areas. It is important that it is rehabilitated, said Lösch. The old granite steps are to be removed and recycled. The stairs are lowered by one step, which means that a flatter approach to the rectory can be created: from 18 to 16 percent gradient. In this way, the side parking spaces can then be adapted without major structural effort. Second Mayor Andreas Altmann suggested a railing at the staircase.

The local council also dealt with the kindergarten project

Schmidgaden

Hans-Jürgen Flierl came back to road construction and possible additional costs in some adjacent areas. Jens Tölg added: If additional costs were incurred, an expert would have to be called in. It cannot be that the municipality has to pay for any mistakes made by the planning office.

Mayor Josef Deichl made it clear: Agreement had been reached on almost all controversial points. Only in the case of the Dorfstrasse 25 to 29 property does the owner reserve the right to have the situation examined by a lawyer and an expert. Andreas Altmann wanted to put an end to it: “We should continue and see that it is finished”.

See you in the middle of next year

Landscape architect Siegfried Lösch has estimated 23,600 euros for the retaining wall and embankment greening, 6,175 euros for the access to the vicarage and 30,000 euros for the staircase renovation. The measures were taken unanimously. Everything should be ready by the middle of next year.

Incidentally, almost 1.4 million euros were invested in road construction in Rottendorf. Initially, an initial development was assumed. After the legal change and the overturning of the road development contribution statute, the residents do not have to pay anything for the road. In addition, conduits for fiber optics were laid.

Money for youth work

Under “Information”, Mayor Josef Deichl announced at the municipal council meeting that 3,000 euros had been awarded to youth funding. The FC Schmidgaden receives 441, the SV Trisching 305, the gymnastics club 1311, the Hubertusschützen 121, “Enzian” Trisching 66, the bowlers 66, the tennis club 60, the BRK 60, the traditional costume club 282 and the gardening club also 282 euros. The total relates to the proportion of young people.

Mayor Josef Deichl reported on three “cut-outs”, compliant building applications, which were passed on to the district office. The last building site in Inzendorf has been sold, and two residential buildings are being built in the West III building area. The company “Unien” has plans for open space photovoltaics in Trisching / Hartenricht. After the lockdown, there should be a local meeting with the local councils.

Second Mayor Andreas Altmann suggested that the municipality also be present on Facebook and Instagram. Jens Tölg suggested a corona payment for the kindergarten staff as a thank you. He also wanted to know how the municipality had implemented protective measures in their area. The administration said that all requirements such as disinfection and masks had been met and ventilation equipment had been procured. They are also on the right track to position themselves accordingly in terms of IT.
