For schools – Bumblauskas remote history lesson about Ukraine

Vilnius University professor’s lesson “What should I know about the history of Ukraine?” From 10 am. will be streamed on the Youtube platform (at youtube.com/watch?v=QFVVImmF6HQ). It will be possible to watch it both directly and later by viewing the post.

Ministry of Education, Science and Sports announces that the lesson will be dedicated to students of I-IV grades, where A. Bumblauskas will talk about the most important moments in the history of this country, the common historical heritage of Lithuania and Ukraine.

This continues the cycle of lessons aimed at getting to know the history of Ukraine, the relations between Lithuania and Ukraine, the current situation in the country and the challenges arising from it, as well as answering questions of concern to students and teachers.

With the help of scientists, educators, non-governmental organizations, and representatives of the army, efforts will be made to reveal as much information about Ukraine to children of all ages as possible during distance learning.

The ministry says the lessons will cover not only history, national defense, citizenship, inter-nation relations, but also psychological aspects such as how to talk about war with children, what the contribution of school and family should be.
