In Saudi Arabia, only native lawyers were allowed to practice in the courts. However, it is estimated that by allowing foreign law firms to practice in Saudi Arabia, efficiency will increase and the legal and litigation scene will improve.
In order to obtain a license one must register on the Najiz.sa portal of the e-Justice service of the Ministry of Justice. The Ministry informed that the license can be obtained by submitting the required information and documents at the Foreign Law Firm link on the portal.

Justice Minister Walid Al Zamani had earlier approved the granting of licenses to foreign law firms. The registration process was initiated as part of its implementation.
