It is well known that real football fans are never distracted when they are watching a game – unless a cat is in mortal danger … At least that was the case recently at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens: A cat got lost in the stadium and fell from a grandstand. Luckily, attentive fans could catch you with a USA flag.
During a football game between the University of Miami Hurricanes and the Appalachian State Mountaineers, a stray cat got lost in the stands of the Hard Rock Stadium.
During her exploration tour, the scariest kitty slipped and managed to grab the railing of the grandstand just in time. For minutes the panicked cat clung to a foil and threatened to fall 15 meters at any moment.

Stadium holds its breath
“Spectators: Inside tried to reach for the cat from above, but they couldn’t reach it and only frightened it back further,” Craig Cromer told the Television network NBC News. He is the caretaker of the University of Miami and was an eyewitness to what happened. “The cat hung there first with two paws, then only one and then I thought: Oh my god, it will soon fall.”
The whole block held its breath and watched the sticky situation. Cromer reacted quickly and, together with his wife and other football fans, raised a USA flag. It should serve as a kind of jumping mat and cushion the fall of the cat.
Rescue operation succeeds
The rescue measure came just in time, because a short time later the cat lost its hold and fell into the depths. Fortunately, her fall was caught by the flag – so she got off with a shock.
The football fans burst into deafening cheers and held the cat aloft in triumph – almost like the Lion King did. Security then brought the frightened kitty to safety.
Hard Rock Stadium later announced on Twitter that a donation had been made to a local animal shelter in honor of the cat:

A case in Chicago also proved that cats have seven lives. Here a death-defying cat jumped out of the fifth floor of a burning skyscraper – and survived!
So that your cat doesn’t jump off the balcony just as daringly, you should secure it adequately. But can the: the landlord: actually forbid a cat net on the balcony?
