The dispute between Brescia and Mario Balotelli took a new turn on Tuesday morning. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian striker (29) was not allowed to train with the red lantern of the Serie A championship and had to leave the sports center at Torbole Casaglia.
The Lombard club justified themselves by invoking the late dispatch of the medical certificate attesting that the player was cured of his gastroenteritis. The document would not have arrived in time to assure leaders that they were covered in the event of an injury during the session.
Towards a breach of contract
As a reminder, President Massimo Cellino, exasperated by the behavior of Super Mario, had launched a few days ago a procedure for amicable breach of the contract which links his club to the former OM player, from Nice and AC Milan in particular. The latter would also be out of shape because he would not have followed his individual training program during confinement.
Arrived in August 2019 in Brescia, Balotelli (5 goals in 19 appearances in Seria this season) should no longer wear the colors of the Lombard club, where he had signed a one-year lease, with two others optional if retained .
