By scoring a hat-trick against Norwich on Saturday, Cristiano Ronaldo activated a rather exceptional bonus in his contract.
Cristiano Ronaldo contributed quite a bit to Manchester United’s success against Norwich on Saturday (3-2), scoring all three goals for his team. With the 60th hat-trick of his career, the Portuguese striker activated a bonus in his contract. According to The Sun, the Mancunian club must pay CR7 a bonus of 750,000 pounds from the goal of 20 goals scored. Beyond that, each goal scored allows him to touch an additional 100,000 pounds. With 21 goals scored following this hat-trick, Cristiano Ronaldo would therefore have touched 850,000 pounds, or 1.02 million euros.
