Flemming had the night of his life at Streamers, ‘Phone Bloated!’

He has barely recovered from Sunday evening, when Flemming Viguurs from Den Bosch was on stage with The Streamers in the Efteling. A live performance for an audience of millions with the greatest artists in the Netherlands. “I still can’t believe this happened.”

It was a great evening, Flemming looks back on his performance with The Streamers a day later. “I really enjoyed it, it was over very quickly. I still can’t believe it happened.”

Flemming is currently scoring a big hit with ‘Amsterdam’ as a Brabanter. He performed the song on Sunday evening amid artists such as Guus Meeuwis, Thomas Acda and Paul de Munnik, Diggy Dex, Nick (from Simon), Suzan and Freek and Danny Vera. All under the inspiring leadership of ‘manager’ Frank Lammers.

What made the performance so special for him was not only the beautiful location of the Winter Efteling or the fact that it was Boxing Day. “That you as a starting artist are asked to be on stage with these great Dutch artists, that is really a dream.”

But he was certainly not inferior to his colleagues who already have a longer track record. The reactions to his performance were unanimously positive. “He makes me proud that my part in the show was so good,” Flemming says. “I’m glad I was able to contribute something beautiful to The Streamers.”

A lot of people let him know that personally. “My phone has completely exploded! Tonight I’m going to go through everything on the couch. But I was happy with so many positive reactions.” He would then participate again. “If they would ask me again, I would have my answer ready right away!” he laughs.

In the meantime, he continues to build his own career. Which for him as a Brabanter will not stay with a song about Amsterdam. “The thing is: Amsterdam is out and that is going very well. But you don’t have a music career on one single.” New work is on the way. “The second single is coming very soon. And I’ve written a lot and finished a lot of songs. So I hope people like it just as much.”
